Come on Denny. This is a fan forum. Fans want to win. I enjoy the historical perspective. Doesn't mean everyone has to.

It was a joke; or a poke.

Other than the coaches & wrestlers, I'm right up there caring about winning. How many of you have your bottom line affected with a losing year? Which also tends to take a hit with unnecessary whining, as if Match Notes is somehow an annual crisis for fans to endure. If it isn't one thing, it's another in a fan forum. I've seen this with 30 yrs involvement in NYG social media.

What, no "I was wrong" comments on Hines big win. after most had him dead and buried? :)
I agree, Lehigh had a real shot at winning.

I think Logan could do with some, or better strategy. Against Foca, he had the takedown in the first, then tried to keep him down which was tough. Then to start the second period let Foca up and got another takedown. Almost got a 3rd takedown with about a minute left in the second but gave up and the ref called a quick stalemate. Then he chose underneath in the 3rd.

Seemed Jake wasn’t deliberate and wasn’t sure of his next move, or whether to try to let him up or try to ride him. Just think It would have helped him to have more of a game plan to follow, which obviously would have included never going underneath to Foca.

What do you think?

Had Logan somehow beaten Foca, Grey still had the option of sending out Loew at 184 (unlikely), Fernandes at 285, and Arujau at 133, all of whom weighed in.

So, maybe not so easily.

and all of whom if not 100% could have been beaten by their Lehigh opposition.......all it really would have taken is Brignola to beat the backpedalling Handlovic, make Handlovic get off his bike and it would have been real interesting whether other Cornell guys wrestle or not........but ifs and buts, agree that it was there for Lehigh though, with injury situations wouldn't have been shocking......
