Train is still off the track at 165,174 & Hvy & perhaps 149.

Win by Logan was first in a long time but over a guy that placed 5th in Pa his best year in high school.

Taylor still struggling despite 3 of the best heavyweight coaches in the country in his corner. I still think he has the potential but first year in lineup has to be discouraging for him.

Hines & Samuelson have made nice recovery as 2 potential round of 12’s after our Big 3.

Hines did look good against Koderhandt……

Bailey and Bryant beat two guys who are a combined 7-24 , Logan beat a guy with a decent record who has wrestled a very weak schedule, thus he is not even ranked in top 33, matter of fact he is #69 on wrestlestat rankings…..and Logan needed a takedown at the very end to win…..

I thought we wrestled better as I said, but let’s not get carried away with how good we looked….. Navy is 1-5 in duals this year for a reason (win was against Kent State)…..

I realize posting realities gets you described as a debbie downer on here, and I’m just fine with that….I’m a Lehigh wrestling fan, not a Lehigh wrestling zealot…..

Our inability to get out from bottom this weekend was disturbing to say the least. These full/majority of periods of being ridden out after us choosing down just simply cannot happen. Don’t know if it’s scouting inaccuracies or just bad execution, and was slightly better against navy, but it needs fixed.

Hines seems to has found his footing at 141 and is about where he was last year at 133 now for me (long shot AA but R12 wouldn’t be shocking)

Injuries are certainly a big factor for dual success at the moment and it’s hard to care about team results in our current state (2/3 elite wrestlers out and a lot of bumping up to replace)

MB4 today had a great balance of control and aggression, anyone have strong feelings about who should go for eiwas at 149?

If you go to the 30:32 mark of the telecast, when the announcer says Brignola and Cerniglia are out of bounds, you can see Cerniglia’s hand on the circle.

Brignola.

Bryant seems to have some trouble wrestling 3 periods.

Thought the same thing, the action never seemed to leave the cylinder to deny the takedown

The only thing I can think of was that they decided Cerniglia’s hand still was blocking Brig’s leg and this he hadn’t fully established control yet. That one seems shaky as well. Failing that they simply blew the call.

Brignola had Cerniglia on the ropes and should have won that match. Samuelson is looking better and better and Beard has a legit shot at being a National Champ.

Taylor was flatter than Johny Henricks against Churella.
