Josh Humphreys

Post by FanfromIowa » Mon Jan 23, 2023 11:41 am

Hi everybody, I'm really hoping I can get some help here. I have Josh Humphreys in my fantasy wrestling league. He was my fifth round pick. Our league has a 5 man bench, unlimited trades, and 5 drop/adds. I drafted Levi Haines in the 11th round on the hopes that he would have the shirt pulled this year. Now, it looks as though he may have it come off this weekend and I have some big trade options for him. I'd love to take one of these and then find out they aren't pulling his shirt and work over a buddy! But, for me to do that I have to know that Humphreys is coming back. What is the deal with him? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Sorry, but you know as much as we know - which is nothing.

Code of Silence out of coaching staff on injuries , even more so than most programs (although that will be disputed and refuted by someone providing all kinds of crazy facts)......

The official Lehigh Facebook page says McGonigle and Humphreys will return. I suspect CM sooner than JH.

IF JH does not return until EIWA, What seed does he get? Only 1 EIWA bout.

#1 seed if the coaches have any brains. Who would want him in a random draw right out of the shoot?

In 2017, Dylan Palacio had five total matches prior to the EIWAs, and only one of them (against Ohio State) of them at 157, all the others at 165. He was seeded 4th at 157, and won the tournament.

I appreciate the replies. If he comes back at EIWA, I'd say a 4th seed. No one other than Alvin, Artalona, Cerniglia will have resumes to be ahead of Humphreys.

Very few things that one cares less about than another person's fantasy team, but this would be brutal for my fantasy team. We have to have our lineups locked by the Wednesday before conference weekend.

Recall that Palacio benefitted from Frosh Jordan Kutler not weighing in as the #1 seed. Kutler was 13-1, with his last appearance being 22-Jan.

In retrospect..Kutler should have gone 165 and Minotti 157, and Walters not Hunting
