updated 133 bracket

Post by legger » Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:20 pm

**** now that McGonagle had to bow out of the 133 weight, I am looking for the updated bracket. The ones I have found still have Connor at #11 and have not made the subsequent changes. Can anyone help prior to Thursday mornings matches? Thanks in advance.

Milner is out at 149 (knee?). so best reprint that bracket as well.

A real shame about Milner. Has beaten Murrin twice before, so Iowa caught a break there.

As expected the alternate at 133 was slotted in at #33.

And so Yianni likely gets a 1x AA as his first match...

So now you're crying about Yianni's draw? That's funny. The best guy in the universe might have a tough 1st round opponent -- worse draw for the other guy, my friend.

Never said I'm crying about it, did I? The idea that a #1 seed gets an AA in the first round is rather remarkable, don't you think?

Jeez...

Depends when he got his AA actually, if last year that's kind of tough, if more than that pretty much doesn't mean a whole lot in terms of this year's ability

Dom Demas, Cal Poly
Dom Demas, a fourth-place finisher as a freshman for the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2019 NCAA National Championships at 141 pounds, has signed a Financial Aid Agreement and will wrestle in his final season of eligibility as a Mustang during the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Yianni will be ok
