I see wrestlers from above popping up in rankings and tournaments. Have never heard of before. Is it new school or change of names.
Website short on history.
But short path from Quakertown to Lehigh.

Not sure how old school itself is but wrestling-wise less than 10 years. And a big jump up this past year. It sounds like most if not all come through their middle school.

Faith Christian Academy landed five champions Saturday at the Class 2A Southeast Regional wrestling championships at Freedom High School.

Notre Dame-Green Pond had two champions and finished second in the team standings to Faith Christian.

The Crusaders’ Ayden Smith had a 10-2 major decision at 114 pounds over Mason McLendon of Susquenita in the finals for one of Notre Dame’s individual titles.

Vincent Bouzakis beat Max Stein of Faith Christian, 6-1, at 145 pounds to win Notre Dame’s other title.

For Faith Christian, Gauge Botero (121), Arment Waltenbaugh (127), Chase Hontz (139), Cael Weidemoyer (152) and Adam Waters (172) won individual titles.

Botero beat Jackson Rush of West Perry, by technical foul, 18-3; Waltenbaugh shut out Steven Harris of Conwell-Egan, 5-0; Hontz beat Bryson Vaughn of Notre Dame-Green Pond, 3-0; Weidemoyer beat Liam Scrivanich of Saucon Valley, 6-3; and Waters beat Holden Garcia of Notre Dame-Green Pond, 5-3, at 172.

More rich, local Pa. hunting ground. But alas, the only three incoming state champion recruits are all from N.J.

Pretty close to certain we will not have any wrestlers starting for Faith Christian enter Lehigh in August of 23 or August of 24.

Their lineup is all frosh or soph.

Do you suppose they recruit from the local public middle schools? (wink, wink)

Likely impact on BECA and NDGP. Maybe we will see "NILs" starting at the high school level.
