He's in good company. High schooler Marcus Blaze beat #1 125 Matt Ramos a couple months ago.

Probably most important outcome of the dual -- Shapiro is finding his rhythm. He'll be champ, just a matter of when.
He'll win it this year. Bet.

If i recall correctly in that tournament Marcus Blaze beat Jax Forrest to get to Ramos…..in the quarters maybe?

Edit: Ok looked it up …..Marcus Blaze did beat Jax Forrest in quarters 9-4, then beat Ramos in the semi’s…..then lost in finals to Brayden Palmer of tennessee- chattannoga fame in final 6-4

After actually viewing the bout, I would say the OkSU was much more of a negative. Leave us say our coaches were not not happy with the official

**** Forrest looks bigger. Luke almost had him toward his back about 3 times but ref ruled no exposure. Both kids are going to be great. I don't see either staying at 125 for long as they are both tall . The question will be will Crookham stay at 133, for 24 through 26? He is much more physically developed and muscled? Crookham does not look over tall at 133, but with his strength and frame he could probably be successful at 141 in 25-26. Luke would have to hit the weights hard to get to a solid 141-49.

Thanks!
Wow - that HS kid is good. Luke had at least 4 good shots that he couldn’t convert.
That kid will be at least 149 in college - he’s big!

More 149 action still to come today, but Munch did not help his cause.
Did Zeke Dubler wrestle a bout in the finals?
