It appears JT Davis moved up to 197 but what happened to Caden Rogers that Wilt becomes the starter? Injured? Can't make weight? Has anyone on staff mentioned anything?

We have had guys show up at the Messiah Open (next Saturday), but I think that was prior to the F+M open. Still, now a guy could enter wrestler 6 bouts an none be D1.

Eboro wrestling may be headed toward D2, which is better than oblivion. Is it just the loss of Flynn and Baumgartner, or is it the fact that the school is now part of Pennsylvania Western University, along with Clarion and California?

Caden Rogers wrestled in the Pitt dual on 11/19, missed the PSU dual on 12/3, was "back from a ding" for the OkSU dual on 12/8; next competed in the Sheridan on 12/22, where he lost 1-0 to Cody Brenner of CMU, beat unrostered Drew Clearie 2-1 (on a stalling point), and med forfeited to Roman Rogotzke. He has not competed since. By 1/16 WrestleStat was ranking Wilt as Lehigh's starter.

My connection of the dots is that Rogers was injured against Pitt, re-injured in the Sheridan, and is now recovering for the end of this season or next season.

At this point it seems like the best plan for Rogers may be: recover, take care of himself, train with Beard, keep working the crowd, and get ready for 2 years starting at 197 after Beard graduates. I think he may end up being a real asset at his healthy weight.

If he ever develops an offense.
