So next year conceivably there could be 4 Top 12 Lehigh wrestlers who are natural 133lbs, Crookham, Stanich, McGonagle and Hines. One will start, one has option to redshirt and the other two have to battle it out again at 141 with an emerging Carter Bailey nipping at their heels. This is competition and bodes will for someone to truly emerge as an NCAA Champion. When you have to battle like this year round, it builds your confidence that you can win against anyone.
Frankly shocked McG hasn't hit the portal already.

I would say Bailey a lot closer to being a "natural" 133 lber at this point than Hines.....Hines will never see 133 again......

As for McGonagle, 6 years isn't for everyone, may have decided to ride this year out and then take his Lehigh degree and go make some money........not saying that is the case, but wouldn't be shocked either......injuries and weight cutting take their toll.......probably depends on where he is on his degree/masters....

Matty Lopes will be redshirting but will also be "in the mix" as a natural 133... unless he ends up going to Iowa/Oklahoma State/ wherever else New Jersey reporters decide he is committed...
