>>>>>>>> Lack of funds for a blue chip transfer should never be an issue in the NIL era. If we can raise money to fly RTC guys to tournaments around the world, we can raise money for an elite transfer.

>>> FG says,.."I believe the key is to maintain the chemistry of the team and develop your recruits while also bringing in select transfers."
Somewhat generic, but safe to say we're ALL on board with that,.. and will/are utilizing such tactics!
Love to see Mays @165/174, and Schoppe @174/184 next year. Both appear rugged, and tough lookin'!

The threshold for very low tuition to no tuition is now something like $100k or lower at Lehigh. I think most wrestlers will get a free ride regardless. Throw in ROTC or student loans, those who want to come will come.
Lehigh grad school depending on department has scholarships, GA, TA, so a grad student athlete could get a role within the university and also be on wrestling team. There are plenty of ways to get through Lehigh at below list cost.
The right transfers are needed this summer for 165, 174, 184, and possibly an elite 149. The rest of lineup will be highly ranked next year. Mays is slotted for 165 next year, but he has been far from an elite in open tournaments this year. Looks like his style is not converting well to the collegiate level for some reason. So hopefully Pat is working on that with him. Rogers at 184 is coming off injury, but he was far from looking elite before the injury. Wilt has been closing the gap so there could be a big jump with summer training.
Reality is that if there are Top 20 guys at 149, 165, 174, and 184 who are grad transfers or academically eligible undergraduate transfers, Lehigh should be ready with packages to get them onto campus.
