**** Overall Bucknell has some fairly impressive records, but you have to wonder the level of competition they have faced. Regardless how badly we win will depend on who Pat decides to send out. Will Crook and and Stanich wrestle? If Pat sits both, Seymour should win easily. If Ryan is sat then will Pat send out McGonagle (can he make 133, and does he want to?). Otherwise we should prevail through 157. 174, 184 I would put as Toss Ups.

THANKS legger! Yea,..165, 174, and 184 will continue to be our Achilles's Heal, but I like the effort seen from Wilt since he denied Cornell's Foca the bonus that would have beaten us.legger wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 12:15 pm 125: Kade Davidheiser (1-2)

Bucknell schedule not as rigorous as ours, but everything is relative.

Re: LU v Bucknell
Bucknell's 184 Bartush is a good example......he's 19-8, great record right? Only 3 of his wins are over guys in wrestlestat top 75 (number 49, number 56, and number 71)
Whether you particularly care about wrestlestat rankings or not there are only what? 72 D1 teams?
Wilt beat him last year at Edinboro Open 5-3

Re: LU v Bucknell
Phipps is no joke. Gave Crookham all he could handle last year.
Re: LU v Bucknell
Crookham did all the scoring in that bout, two TDs (with a third one called back), an escape and riding time against a pair of escapes and a penalty point. Under this year's rules the score would be 8-4, not 6-4. It's safe to say that Crookham gave Phipps more than he could handle. And you're correct, Phipps is no joke.

Re: LU v Bucknell
Dylan Chappell at 141 for Bucknell defeated Manzona Bryant last year at 149 8-6 in SV-1.....started this year wrestling 149 and moved down to 141 after holiday break.....
Re: LU v Bucknell
Lehigh wins at 125, 197, and 285 are locks but the other 7 weights are in play.
