Heethuis is the only 125 on Princeton's roster and he's wrestled in every dual until today; not hard to believe that he's beat up. He's lost three of his last four (Sotelo, Ungar, Carson Wagner). Pierson defaulted last week against Binghamton, after being tech falled by Arujau the previous day; sounds like his injury is real. Gotta believe Princeton wants to beat Penn more than Lehigh, so I can't believe they're holding anyone out to save them for the dual tonight.

Princeton's press release doesn't have much information, so there's no indication there that the starters wouldn't be in the lineup.

During the 1st semester, there was all this talk about the demise of the program. The 2nd semester, Pat strategically manipulated the 1st 2 weights and Lehigh is 6-0 and ranked higher than any of us ever anticipated. Now the problem seems to be that we are not winning big enough. smh

Crookham, by most accounts is dinged. Stanich needs to be very disciplined in order to make 125 and not lose strength and/or energy. If Crookham, were to aggravate his ding at this stage of the game, those very passionate fans would be in an uproar. If Stanich gets sucked out maintaining weight and doesn't qualify like Kutler, the same fans would be in an uproar, solely because our margin of victory was not big enough.

IMHO, we learn about more about wrestlers and they develop faster when matches appear to be on the line. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the show. There is a lot to be optimistic about.

Depressing scene overall at Princeton today. A smattering of disengaged fans outnumbered by empty seats - isn't this supposed to be a rivalry dual. At 149 their #25 Rivera takes a 14-1 loss to #33 Swisher.

In hindsight maybe not a bad idea to send in the second string tonight if this is what we are up against. Still wish we'd see McGonagle.

So you are saying that in my 5th day, of covid(Dizzy and Foggy, no longer coughing) I probably should not drive the 95 miles to Leeman Turner?

Up to you Rich B, but maybe not. 29-0 now after 7 matches.

Side note. What's with the persistent bad sportsmanship at Penn, especially at 157 by Revano and 165 by Sement? Both of these guys are pushing their opponents' heads after the whistle, taunting the crowd and the other bench, stuff like this every match. Is Penn known for dirty wrestling historically? Otherwise I can only think it has something to do with Tyler Berger "coaching" at Penn now and spending a lot of time with these weights. Berger is notorious for dirty scumbag tactics like intentionally headbutting Zain Retherford at Final X and busting his forehead open...

It's up to the refs to put a stop to that. I could never understand why Darmstadt didn't lose a team point every time he showed off after pinning an opponent.

Oh, I do understand. The coaches can veto ref assignments.

It's up to the wrestler to stop it by knocking his teeth out.

Justafan is right. Pat Knows. I can’t believe how the outlook this season transformed from a rebuilding year to one of the highest ranked teams in the country.

That could mean attendance was over 3000.

Ha! Not the impression I got but wasn't counting either.

Princeton has fallen on tough times this year for sure, but maybe the new assistant coach will help with the rebuilding process. One interesting development is that Pat Glory is their regular color commentator now and does a pretty good job imo. He attributed some of the challenges to Dubuque needing more help there.
