Is there a West Coast Campbell I haven't heard of before?

I remember it being a tri meet with Campbell, like LU, making the long trip.

Yeah but they travelled by camel so had plenty of time to adjust.

I always took Kolat as a TE Lawrence type.

Arizona State has a nice team. LU didn’t match up well with them. We were missing one of our hammers in Crookham and they were missing one of theirs in Schultz. Both would have been favored.

The Hines match was huge. That notwithstanding, the matchups leaned to ASU.

Figueroa is tough. You don’t always win those regardless of rankings. Stanich had his chances - similar to his other loss against Okla St. IMO, he needs to push the action sooner. I suppose that’s part of his learning curve.

Two weeks to heal up, get mentally geared up and get to nationals.

Ritchie Figs completed a two-fer this weekend by also beating #5 Caleb Smith.
In addition, Parco knocked off #1 ranked and previously unbeaten Ridge Lovett at 149.

Wilt with TD - there goes shutout.

And another TD, plus back points

Wilt 10-5.

Both shutouts gone
... I hope you didn't go to FanDuel w/that, did ya?
(AND Beard was coming up too!)

Wrestlestat showed Wilt as the winner 4-5 wks ago.
Here's the post I made on 7-Jan, indicating Wrestlestat's view on Wilk-Negron:

I'll be at the Arizona State match, as my 11-year old son has a gymnastics meet early Sunday morning in Chandler. We're driving down from Vegas to catch the dual the night before. Looking ahead on WrestleStat, Lehigh can beat the #11 Sun Devils given the following:

125: Stanich DEC Figueroa, 7-4 >> LEHIGH 3-0
133: Crookham DEC Chlebove, 9-2 >> LEHIGH 6-0
141: Hines TF Foote, 17-2 >> LEHIGH 11-0
149: Parco DEC Griffin/Munch, 8-3 >> LEHIGH 11-3
____(same score for either LU guy)
157: Teemer DEC Brignola, 8-5 >> LEHIGH 11-6
165: Ruiz DEC Logan, 6-4 >> LEHIGH 11-9
174: Valencia DEC Lawrence, 8-6 >> AZ STATE 12-11
184: Wilt DEC Negron, 8-6 >> LEHIGH 14-12
197: Beard TF Meissner, 21-2 >> LEHIGH 19-12
285: Schultz DEC Taylor, 7-3 >> LEHIGH 19-15

So they literally 'humped it' across country...

Good one. Campbell has the best nickname of any D1 team the Camels. Just out-scoring SD State Jackrabbits.

How a school in rural North Carolina came up with Camels is a story for another day.
