The Evanitsky thing - yes, it was TB not SV. Evanitsky jumped the whistle and got the escape and won - BUT then they decided to call the jump, after the end of the match, and re-did the entire TB round. Thankfully Evanitsky won anyway, but it was a mess.

Don't have anyone committed yet from Becahi or Easton, but going into District 11 AAA medal round, the two are tied for first with 214.5 points. Beca has 5 in championship finals, 6 in consi finals. Easton with 6 & 4.

I hope there's some inroads for recruiting over at Easton right now, they are having a hell of a year right down the road.

There is not a boatload of space between Manville, Consiglio and Rozynski at this point.

Consiglio's only 2 losses were to Manville, the last being 1-0. Rozynski lost to Manville in TB2-1 and Consiglio twice 7-5 and now 2-1. For that matter Van Hoven lost to Consiglio 1-0 this year. It will be interesting to see how they separate themselves in college.

Federici goes down 7-2 to William Henckel. He fought a competent match but couldn't get his offense going to overcome an early 5-0 deficit.
There you have it folks.
Federici 2nd - Rozynski 2nd - Evanitsky champ

That's for sure. Manville to ASU, Consiglio to Stanford, Rozynski and Van Hoven to LU. The mantra has always been that Lehigh gets proportionately good results from their recruits. Stanford has been doing the same lately. ASU not sure. Will be a good test of how these guys develop.

It was the right call though an awkward one…. He definitely jumped the whistle which directly led to the escape….. back up ref caught it (as did everyone else other than actual ref)……i give back up ref credit for having the guts to make the call…..wasn’t an easy situation……

As you said though thankfully Evanisky won anyway on the redo……

I watched finals on Flow. Contrast of builds. Henckel tall and strong like a lumberjack. Federici shorter and compact like a pit bull. Hopefully, Federici can maintain weight for 174 through college. Up at 184, I think he will have trouble with the 6'2" long guys in college.

Bousakis bumped up to 157 & just won Preps handily.

Federici coming up soon.
I am told Dad Bouzakis may be be more concerned about about Frosh Jaclyn than either Vince or Nic. Which is why establishing Women's wrestling can only benefit our Men's team. Get Vince then Jaclyn.

A lot of good people working hard on women’s program & likely more than a club sport in a couple years. They just landed a High School stud from Arizona with great recruiting effort.

I like your plan about Vince the Jacklyn both staying close to home for the Dad. Ohio Stare is a grind car trip or even flight routine.
