We out championed the title holder 4 to 3. :)
We'll take that for the consolation prize. ;)
Still... just missing the EIWA title w/ the last gathering of Ivies has to sting a bit.

Final tally...
Cornell wins it (again) 164.5
LEHIGH w/ a HIGH point total for runner-up 159.5
Army/WP 95.5
Columbia w/ a strong showing 90.5, also tied w/ Penn @ 90.5 as well
Rest of the Top Ten...
NAVY w/ 79.5
Host Bucknell w/72
Princeton w/ 68.5
Binghamton w/ 67.5
In 10th is Harvard w/ 52

Someone will communicate who won the MOW/Fletcher(most accumulative EIWA points scored in career) Sheridan (most falls in least time)

I'll say that Ryan will win the MOW...

D3, you're right that RC won OW. NT was also pretty outstanding.

Not getting too hung up on the team points - many variables there. We BEAT ungar. We BEAT vito. we BEAT cardenas. we BEAT fernandes. We crushed revano and got our 149-apalooza candidate a bronze medal. Excellent day imo. Gotta enjoy these moments.

The only way that could have been a better tourney for us was winning it. Outstanding effort. Crown champions. Send guys to NCAAs. Have at least 4 that can score serious points. Likely 20% of the top seeds will wear Brown & White.

You can't give away three weights in the middle and expect to beat a balanced team like Cornell. But Lehigh looked great. Some disappointments but I thought Logan did better than I expected. A good effort by all, an outstanding effort by some and a very entertaining tournament. On to nationals.

Cornell's nine in the top four easily beats Army's ten in the top eight (most were 5-8) from a few years ago.

So how did Cardenas shut down Beard's offense for most of the match? Was this great prep with his coaches or was Beard a little off tonight? It looks like Cardenas had a very different game plan and actually took a lot of shots. In their early match ups I remember Beard often scored on those.
