Cornell will be graduating half their EIWA team: Arujau, Baker, Foca, Cardenas and Fernandes (with Lowe and C. Yap to boot).
Pretty sure that Foca returns. Simon Ruiz is probably their best incoming greyshirt.

Foca's listed as a senior on their roster but his freshman year was the Covid year. Does that mean he still has a year of eligibility left? I thought that in the Ivies you're finished when you graduate.

This seems to mean that a wrestler like Starrocci is going to be way out of place, which could cause problems for some poor guy if Starocci is healthy.
could cause problems for some poor guys if Starocci is unhealthy in the say the 1st and 2nd round. He said he was ready to go at Big 10. Another 2 week and pissed that he didn't get to go. WATCH OUT!

Will be interesting to see what the metrics do to a #1 who had to medically DQ out in qualifying tournament. Does he drop below Top 8? Further down?

Metrics used for seeding and Starocci's case are detailed on page two of this thread.

Wrestling Nomad, a former Flo employee that had the best understanding of the new NCAA seeding process, just posted his forecast for 133 as:
The Wrestling Nomad
@wrestlingnomad
ACTUAL final guess

Daton
Crookham
Orine (could be 4)
Ragusin (could be 3)
Vito
Shawver
Bailey
Interesting to see Vito possibly falling to the #5.

IMO, it will be a miracle if Starocci makes it through the tournament.

Ditto Vito -- this isn't the EIWA where there are easy 1st and 2nd round bouts.

The young lions who haven't been beaten to $#it yet will all do well. 4/5 year seniors who are banged up will be "upset" (not really upsets)

It is so important to come out firing at nationals. Sitting back and getting trucked is going to happen to anyone who plays it safe.
