Like the WAY ya think buddy!

Quite possible!! He’s already won the NCAA’s - been there, done that. Seems like freestyle/Olympics has always been his ultimate “goal”. Winning an Olympic gold probably ranks a heck of a lot higher than winning a second NCAA’s for him.
If true, couldn’t fault him one bit.

Interesting theory and certainly a possibility.

However ...... Vito is a pretty competitive guy and wants to do what he can for his Cornell teammates. If there is any way to go, IMO, he'll go. He struggles with Crookham, but maybe with 133 being loaded with talent, he thinks someone else may take Ryan out. Fix is solid, but that freshman from Iowa State wrestled him tough. BTW< Evan Frost is from Metarie, LA.

There is some discussion that Kai Orine (ACC Champ from NC State) could slip in ahead of Vito at the #3. Record is 15-2 (to Vito's 13-2). Not sure about comparative RPI ratings.

Agree with Oracle on Arujau.

Cornell will be graduating half their EIWA team: Arujau, Baker, Foca, Cardenas and Fernandes (with Lowe and C. Yap to boot). Don't know if they have any big star greyshirts good enough to be high quality starters, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of optimism over on their forum when it comes to next season.

I suspect they had high expectations when it came to this season's Nationals and that they'll pull out all the stops to make as good showing next week as they can, which would include Arujau's participation if he and they think he can do well.

Actually, he does have just one: http://www.wrestlingstats.com/lehigh/vi ... estler=672

And it's spelled Metairie.

Yes, for sure Vito is thru and thru a team guy, and will fully cooperate with Cornel’s tournement expectations and objectives. Nevertheless, recalling last years post championship interviews, etc., he is his own and his father’s man and will act ultimately in those more internationalist interests. So, last minute decision to withdraw or not, based on injury/risk/recovery assessment fully looked at in the remaining time available.

Wouldnt be shocked to see:

1) Fix
2) Crookham
3) Orine
4) Vito

Or

1) Crookham
2) Fix
3) Orine
4) Vito

Am I saying either is right? No…… but wouldn’t shock me (that is if Orine wins ACC title at 7 pm)….. and being clear for those who are brown and white happiness blinded( i.e. flaguy) I do believe Crookham should be 1 seed…..

Mountain Hawk: "Orine 2 losses. Zero chance he checks in above Vito"

and he may be right, but as I said back on sunday afternoon it wouldn't shock me to see Orine slip in there........
