"Scott Moore seems to be putting together a pretty good recruiting class to build around Wyatt Henson who came over last year, I think."

>>>>>>>>>> I would think the building is around Noto, a 2X high-placing AA. I don't Henson did much at NCAAs, did he?

Just my opinion but Noto will be the face of the team next year. However as a 5th year senior, I'm not as certain to how effective that makes him as someone to build a team around. Henson will be there presumably for 2 years and although he lost 2 very close matches upfront, he was 30-2 going in.

Lehigh eg isn't building a team around Michael Beard at this point although he will be very formidable and certainly has the potential of being national champion. They are "building" it around Crookham, Stanich and Taylor.

Just my thoughts.

Should be good FIT for the Hokies! Doubt he makes THIS chose without assurances from Coach Robie

Noto has one year of eligibility remaining in 5th year of college, Henson has 2 remaining in his 4th year of college.........not a big difference......not like Henson was a true freshman.........

Lockhaven has seemed to be home to the malcontents, castaways and so on in recent years........not sure how much studying is going on at Lockhaven but the wrestling program is certainly on the uptick......

Gotta agree with ya pal per Lock haven comments, although I surmise Grey Simmons(1,1,1,) wasn't any of the afore-mentioned. Kolat, Marstellar, and a few others qualify under your initial premise.

Funny they used to have (may still have?) a big boxing club event at the NYAC. Really fun night with clubs from all over including Army and I think Navy. Lock Haven always had a team there and they were always some of the grittiest tough little bastards you ever saw. Never bet against one once.

Hunter Mays just entered the portal.

Kyle Mosher from Columbia also -- maybe we pick him up?

Wow. That is weird. Maybe Mosher or some other upcoming news will make more sense of this.

Three colleges in three years. There has to be a backstory.

He transfered highschools also. Maybe just a pattern. But we can hope there is something positive happening behind the scenes relative to filling the 165 gap.
