Re: Stanich
Mountain Hawk: thank you for that. I’m moving there next week.
Re: Stanich
Spladle: There are now 7 ACC teams. So you’re guess can’t be all that far off even if your wrong!!!
Re: Stanich
The nightmare. Stanich grows 2 weights over the summer. Bailey and Crookham can np longer hold 133. McGonigal wrestles 133 elsewhere.

No reason alums/friends of Lehigh wrestling can not offer comparable NIL funds to current wrestlers and/or attract transfers. If we want to compete with the big boys we need to step up to the plate.
Crookham’s weight going forward will determine Stanich’s future weight class——-similar to the Burley and Schuyler process.

Actually, Burley bumped to 142 to let Pete go 134.FloridaGuy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 5:17 pm >>>>>>>>Two comments:

Re: Stanich
You’ve made multiple posts regarding how “easy” it is to raise NIL funds, even suggesting on several occasions that money should be redirected from the LVWC for this purpose.FloridaGuy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 5:17 pm No reason alums/friends of Lehigh wrestling can not offer comparable NIL funds to current wrestlers and/or attract transfers. Hopefully, with your cavalier attitude towards the ease of raising funds, you are one of the largest benefactors of Lehigh Wrestling. Just sayin’
Re: Stanich
I saw somewhere that they heard he was looking in the Midwest. Not sure what school that may involve. But rumors are rumors

>>>>>>> Reply to JAD77: I never posted the word ‘easy’ with respect to NIL.
It is a matter of establishing priorities. Do you want to compete at the highest level? Is attracting the next Crookham/Stanich/Beard to Lehigh more or less important than the next Rea/Smith to LVWC?
I have consistently posted that LVWC raises significant money to pay a coach and a team of wrestlers and, imo, some of those funds should be directed toward actual Lehigh wrestlers that represent the school and bring home medals from the NCAAs. The LVWC site actually has info/photosof Lehigh wrestlers—-so direct some NIL money to them.
If a multimillion LVWC endowment in Strobel’s name is possible——— raising funds to augment the scholarships for a handful of key Lehigh wrestlers should be possible.
I also note that Lehigh wrestling just raised over $150,000 during ‘giving days’
In summary—- I’d rather direct funds to Labriola to wrestle for Lehigh than for LVWC after his college career.
