Bucknell
Held Fordham to 66. Another great job by Cecchini. Imagine how good Lehigh could be with him at the helm.

Re: Bucknell
We need Stambaugh to agree to step up from high school comfort zone to lead His alma mater.
Re: Bucknell
Wow a high school coach! You're really setting your sights high! Maybe you could be on the search committee?
Re: Bucknell
Is this really the best you can do? Nothing more than meaningless snarky posts that are essentially trolling for its own sake.
Mookie, you’re starting to make me feel badly for you.
Re: Bucknell
Just so I'm clear on your forum rules.
You and your on line buddies can crap on Gilmore and Sterrett with impunity screaming that they be immediately fired or else you'll stop donating. But I can't make fun of your ridiculous suggestions on replacing the coach with Cecchini or Stambaugh?
Okie Dokie then.

Re: Bucknell
Cecchini is 2-0 against Gilmore while at Bucknell
Cecchini led the Bison to within 1 win of the spring FCS playoffs, would have been a program first
Bucknell does not allow 5th players under virtually any circumstances. Overall, their institutional support for football is nowhere close to that at Colgate, Fordham, Holy Cross and Lehigh.
As bad as Bucknell has been this year they've at least won a game and scored multiple touchdowns.

Re: Bucknell
What baseline would Stambaugh or Cecchini need to surpass to not be considered a ridiculous notion? One TD? One win? <100 point scoring differential? Top 240 in Sagarin ratings? Seriously at this point many of us don't care who replaces him, it can't possibly get worse.....can it?mookie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 12:25 pm Just so I'm clear on your forum rules.

Re: Bucknell
Stambaugh is Assistant Coach material ..like the QB Coach
Maybe he can make a suggestion who we should interview for AD or HC heh
The big decision is who the new AD will be ..a forward thinker who can revamp Pat League. Then hire a football HC with a winning resume.ONLY ..maybe somebody who won a division II championship who knows
