Richmond
Notes up. Same starters.Massey has the game as 24-10 for UR. Early line had LU +12.5 at home.
One takeaway from rewatching Hoyas. When we played with consistent intensity we excelled on O Otherwise O was hit or miss play to play.
D also rose up repeatedly particularly on goal line stands. Otherwise there were plays by individual players but not the same unit cohesion. At our best we can be quite good but as yet we don't seem able to maintain that level .

Re: Richmond
I hope we see significant improvement on the execution portion of the game plan. Georgetown was alot better than most of us thot....except on 4th downs and two conversation. They will win their share of games thi year.

Re: Richmond
Georgetown was nice because they found a way to achieve success. However, the stats/mistakes are still alarming given the context of the opponent and time. Getting "out first downed" by the Hoyas 29-15, out-gained 422 to 306 clearly shows a need to execute "much better" on both sides of the ball.
Defining success should not be where Lehigh was at this time last year rather where they were at the end of last season given the "building" process as it relates to returning players/outside expectations; i.e. 2021-22 Holy Cross was suppose to take the next step nationally, 2018-19 Colgate was expected to regress due to graduation/transfers.
This is hardly a great Richmond team rolling into Goodman yet they are clearly more "able" than the Hawks based on recent, applicable history. If nothing else, like last week, Lehigh is facing another team/program who's leadership/coaching is questionable. I could easily see Huesman being sent packing after this year if the Spiders fail to do better than 5 or 6 wins. A loss to "lowly Lehigh" would hasten that departure.
As it is, Lehigh has yet to prove they can beat a CAA-level team under Gilmore. Until they do, or at least come close, I have to go with the Spiders 38-21. Prove me wrong....

Re: Richmond
Richmond 30 Lehigh 6 Final
Lehigh 11 first downs, 203 total yards. How many points has the offense averaged the last 3 years? How much longer will it continue? Please, look at reality...LFN..
