Re: 2nd CP and 1st RPI Rankings
Interesting on Crookham rpi.
He beat at least 3 (at the time) top 10s.
McGonagle doesn't count. I assume Vito doesn't have an RPI for lack of bouts.
I believe he has 13 countable bouts though. Is that enough for this time around?

Re: 2nd CP and 1st RPI Rankings
15 is the minimum every time they run the RPI numbers. WrestleStat estimated the top four RPIs at 133 as Fix, Crookham, Ragusin, Arujau, had they all had 15 bouts.

Re: 2nd CP and 1st RPI Rankings
Logan likely in. Wilt almost there. Amazingly could be 9 to NCAA.
Re: 2nd CP and 1st RPI Rankings
Remember that .700, 30, 30 are the bare minimums, and Logan and Wilt aren't going to be near .700. To earn a pre-allocated spot (which doesn't mean they're going to NCAAs, just someone at EIWAs will) they're going to need more like 27, 27; last year one weight class had the bar set at .740, 26, 26.
Logan's going to have the RPI, but he's going to have to go 2-0 over the final two weekends to have any chance of a CP ranking of 27; neither opponent is ranked higher than he is. He's probably going to have to wrestle above his seed at EIWAs to earn a spot, or else he'll need an at-large bid.
Wilt's in much the same position, except he needs to beat two guys ranked higher. He's going to have his work cut out for him.

Re: 2nd CP and 1st RPI Rankings
Makes viewing EIWA that much more interesting to see these men wrestle and qualify. They both seem to be reducing mistakes the past couple matches. I am rooting for Herceg to have upsets too!jdalu75 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 9:12 pm Remember that .700, 30, 30 are the bare minimums, and Logan and Wilt aren't going to be near .700.
